The short version
Being subscribed to Maker ($12.99 a month) or Atelier ($39.99 a month) on Ourlette between 14 October 2026 and 30 November 2026 (23:59 UTC) automatically enters you in a draw to win a Brother CS7000X sewing machine, approximate retail value $249. One winner is drawn at random from all participants no later than 5 December 2026, and we ship the machine free. No purchase is necessary: a free entry is possible (section 4).
1. Organiser
The giveaway is organised by Ourlette, operator of ourlette.com and app.ourlette.com. Brother is not a sponsor of, and is not affiliated with, this giveaway; the product name only describes the prize.
2. Period
Entries count from 14 October 2026, 00:00 UTC to 30 November 2026, 23:59 UTC.
3. Who can take part
Anyone aged 18 or over with an Ourlette account, living in a country where the giveaway is lawful and to which the prize can be shipped. Residents of Italy, Brazil and Quebec are excluded. Employees of Ourlette and their household members are excluded. Void where prohibited by law.
4. How to enter
- With a plan: every account subscribed to Maker or Atelier during the period gets one entry: a new subscription, a move up from another plan, or a subscription you already had. Entry is automatic; there is nothing to fill in.
- Without a purchase: no purchase is necessary. Sign in to a free Ourlette account and press "Enter the draw for free" on the free entry page during the period. A free entry has exactly the same chance as an entry through a plan.
One entry per person, however you enter and however many plans or accounts you have. Library subscriptions, AI credits and coins bought or received do not create an entry.
5. Refunds and withdrawn entries
Entering does not change your rights under our refund policy. If the subscription that created an entry is refunded or charged back, or has ended before the draw (cancelled and its paid period over), the entry is withdrawn. If it belonged to the drawn winner, a new winner is drawn.
6. The prize
One (1) Brother CS7000X computerised sewing machine, approximate retail value $249. We pay for shipping to the winner's address. Import duties and local taxes are the winner's responsibility. Where this model is not sold or cannot be shipped (for example in Europe, where the voltage differs), we send an equivalent beginner sewing machine of the same or greater value. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it.
7. The draw
The winner is drawn at random from all valid entries, no later than 5 December 2026. We write to the winner at the e-mail address of their account within 7 days of the draw. The winner has 14 days to reply with a shipping address; after that, a new winner is drawn. The winner's first name and country may be announced on ourlette.com and our social accounts.
8. General
We may cancel or amend the giveaway if fraud, technical failure or events beyond our control make it impossible to run as planned; entries already made keep their value in any redraw. Our decisions on the draw are final. Your data is handled as described in the privacy policy; the winner's address is used only to ship the prize and deleted afterwards.
